Biographical information:

Since school, I've been... VMI 1957 to 1961: Army 1962-64. Army Reserve until 1991. Retired from AR as a Colonel. Worked in Pa and NC. Been in NC since 1973. Retired early in 1959. Busier than ever. Love retirement and traveling and playing bluegrass on my banjo.

My family: Three children: Two boys and one girl. Six Grandchildfen, all boys. Son Stephen now living in Giles and managing Tangent Outdoors in Pembroke.

Life experiences: Birth of children. Still having great life experiences. Look forward to each day. Still much in love with my bride.

My favorite things in school: Hikeing, fishing, camping, music, traveling, history, learning new stuff.

My favorite things now: Hikeing, fishing, camping, music, traveling,(especially on cruise ships) history, learning new stuff, being a docent guide at a history museum, speaking to public on history and the revolutionary war. Playing my 5 string banjo. Comming back to Giles County every chance I get.

My favorite books, movies and music: Movies: Action, science fiction. Music: Everything except rap. Books: Mystery, History, Biographical.

I work at: Retired but do some part time activities.
